Ever since Microsoft launched Windows 11 most PS's aren't able to get the Windows 11 installed. The Windows 11 required the TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to be enabled on the PC. The only way so far has been modifying the regedit and using various commands which doesn't always work for most of the PC's.
Even if you have edited the regedit, the only way to install is to perform the clean install removing everything from the computer. There are various articles out there that claim that the regedit will work, and other articles that give you the script of various forms to be used, however it still doesn't work. Today lets talk about how to install Windows 11 on any PC without having to modify the registry and also without having to perform the clean install the MCT way.
Yes, you read it right, Windows 11 installation easy without deleting files, and without modifying the registry settings.
Please follow this guide till the end and you should be definitely be able to install the Windows 11 in any unsupported PC.
So without wasting much time, lets get started. There are basically only 2 steps involved in installing Windows 11.
1. Download the Windows 11 ISO from Official Download site of Microsoft.
Click on the link to navigate to the Windows 11 Download Site https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
- Navigate the "Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)" as shown in the image below
- Select the Windows Edition as "Windows 11(Multi Edition ISO)"
- Click Confirm Once you've selected the language of your choice.
- Now once the ISO file has been downloaded, proceed to the next step.
2. Download the "Windows11Upgrade_EN.zip" from the link here.
- Once you have downloaded the "Windows11Upgrade_EN.zip" from "https://github.com/coofcookie/Windows11Upgrade/releases" extract the content of the zip file.
- The extracted file should look something like this
- Open the file "Windows11Upgrade.exe" selecting "Run as Administrator" from the right click menu.
- Now click on the option that says "Select Windows 11 ISO file"
- Locate the Windows 11 ISO that you downloaded earlier.
- The tool will take a while to perform the installation.
- Once the installation is completed, you should be able to see the Windows 11 installed, and all your programs and files will be kept intact.
- Once installed, before you do anything, go to windows update and check for updates.
Note : If the tool doesn't work for some reason, please start the Step 2 again, and try to run the "Windows11Upgrade.exe".
