- Open the disk cleaner from the start menu
- Perform the clean up, also select the "Clean System Files" and select all the windows folder and files.
- Wait for the clean up to complete.
- Once the clean up is completed, perform the update check on the computer.
- Once completed, restart the computer, and the computer should be working fine.
